What’s shakin’? Merk here, one half of the heart and mind behind Lala Design (based in Brooklyn, NY). My approach to design is rooted in curiosity and a genuine passion for creating meaningful experiences. I’m all about embracing good vibes and weaving them into every aspect of my life and work.
With a diverse skill set spanning product design, package design, and 2D design, I’ve never been one to put all my fruit in one basket.
When I’m not immersed in the world of design, you can find me on midnight bike rides, soaking in my city’s energy, attending local cyphers and museums, fueling my creativity while enjoying a delicious beverage of course! For me, life is all about creating meaningful experiences through thoughtful design. After all, why not make the little moment enjoyable for ourselves and others? -

Hey friends! Alexandra here, the other half and bountiful fruit behind Lala Design (based south in beautiful, colorful Miami, FL). I’ve always been interested in the way different stylistic design and colors can effect perception and decisions in the world. I use my passion to positively influence these aspects.
Designing for a diverse range of clients from styles that are dynamic and playful to styles that are minimal and elegant. Branding, illustration and packaging are my specialties in this creative world- but we don’t limit ourselves here.
Outside of designing you can find me by the ocean taking in this beautiful life, supporting local artists and spending time with friends & family. Grateful for the ones who inspire my creativity and excited for the future opportunities to grow with our clients.
